Overview: Guide children in exploring a mystery box filled with dinosaur and Jurassic period related materials. Support children in putting their hand in the box to touch the items and guess what they are!
Materials:
- ECSEL Tool: Our Emotions Cards
- Several cardboard boxes (shoe boxes with lids work best).
- Different sized/shaped/textured materials related to Dinosaurs or the Jurassic period (ex: some small dinosaur figures, a fake dinosaur egg, fossils, rocks/sand, etc.)
- Paper and writing utensils for recording prediction
