Overview: There are many types of clouds that exist in our atmosphere. With clouds in the sky, you can observe many shapes, pictures, and images. Let’s learn about the different types and how they can connect to our emotions with an art project! This lesson will focus on stratus, cumulus, cirrus, and nimbus clouds.
- Printed images of each type of cloud: stratus, cumulus, cirrus, and nimbus. Print enough images of each cloud type for each classroom table to have a complete set.
- Pieces of scrap paper
- Construction paper (4 pieces per child)
- Cotton balls
- Liquid glue
- Paint brushes
- Pencils, crayons, and markers
