Recycled Material Train Car Creation

Overview: Work together as a class to create your very own train out of recycled materials! Support small groups in creating different train cars, then put them all together for some fun!

Materials:

• Recycled materials such as cardboard boxes, tissue boxes, paper towel rolls, toilet paper rolls, etc. (ideally a shoebox or tissue box per group)
• Age-appropriate art supplies (e.g., glue sticks, foam stickers, dot markers, crayons, tissue paper)
• Tape
• Printed-out pictures of trains
