Overview: Welcome to the Rainbow Cafe where you can transform your dramatic play area into a colorful restaurant! Children will act out being at a restaurant and order food by color.

Materials:

• Different colored dramatic play foods. Try to collect foods that have one dominant color and include food that represents different cultures.
• Dramatic play plates. Try to find plates that have dominant colors matching the colors of the foods.
• Clear and accessible dramatic play center in your classroom with a table and chair(s)
• Plastic bin
• Construction paper in multiple colors (same colors as the food items)
