Materials:
- Clear plastic bins (enough for partners or small groups)
- A mixture of different sensory filler materials (e.g., colorful sand, smooth stones – large enough to not be a choking hazard, torn pieces of construction paper, etc.)
- Wooden/plastic numbers
- Optional: tongs or tweezers to further strengthen fine motor skills (enough for each child or to share)
- Trays for each child (to keep track of their number collection)
- Dry-erase board or writing pad and marker (for visual support)
