Cozy Family Portrait Collage

Overview: Cozy feelings like “happy,” “loved,” “proud,” “calm,” and even “excited” make us feel warm and fuzzy inside. Help strengthen children’s empathy, prosocial skills, and emotional understanding while also building a community connection between home and school with this cozy, creative, family-themed art project.

Materials:

• Paper for each child, art supplies (e.g., markers, crayons, pencils, etc.),
• Collage materials (e.g., buttons, fabric, yarn, etc.),
• Glue sticks for each child (or to share),
• Paper and writing utensil (for children’s responses)
