Overview: What can you create out of recycled materials? Absolutely anything! Give children a creative outlet to explore their imagination and make colorful creations out of recycled materials with this activity.
Materials:
- Differently sized, shaped, and colored recycled materials (e.g., cereal boxes, shoe boxes, plastic containers, plastic bottles, paper towel rolls, tinfoil, cellophane, etc.)
- Tape
- Glue (sticks or on a plate with a paintbrush)
- Child-safe scissors (for children to practice)
- Scissors (teacher use only)
- Marker
